• Merike has just launched a new line of floral sculptures in fiberglass called Light Fantastics

Here's what was new at RodMer Arts during Winter 2005-2006:

• We added links to paintings and sculptures available on Merike's entry on Art-Exchange.com
• so far only a few paintings and sculptures are now available through Art-Exchange.com -- more will be added shortly
• in addition, not really part of RodMer Arts -- but taking time away from our artistic endeavours -- work by both of us in launching a new federally incorporated not-for-profit environmental organization: Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy (Canada) Inc. / Écologistes Pour l'Énergie Nucléaire (Canada) Inc.

From both computer files and the live recordings taken at a house concert here at SwallowHill in Sep/05, both live-performance and computer-played files were added for some newly composed pieces:

• Little Flute and Piano Suite
• Little Piano Piece
• Beaver Rag with Flute Descant

From the live recordings taken at a house concert here at SwallowHill in Apr/05, live performance files were added for some existing pieces:

• Song No. 3 for Merike
• Little Piano Suite
• Little Recorder Suite

In addition, one newly composed piece was added (at the moment still played by the computer):

• March of the Returning Wanderers

Here's what was new at RodMer Arts during Summer 2005:

• Ten more short stories by Merike were added to RodMer Short Story Room so there are now 18 short stories there in total (12 by Merike, 6 by Rod)
  
  
• The SwallowHill personal pages were all been overhauled.
  
  
• The overall top RodMer pages and the Merike Lugus Art Gallery on the Web, Poetry Room and Short Story Room were overhauled and updated
  
  
• One additional short story ("The Klane Shift" by Rod) was added to the RodMer Short Story Room (more by Merike and by Rod will be added shortly -- now have been -- see above)
  
  
• Many new paintings by Merike were added -- those presented in the AGN Upstairs Gallery Show during March & April 2005
  
  

• The latest development was the complete overhaul and updating of the Rod's Music section of the website
